Description:
Processing the removal of UMH computer equipment that is inventoried and registered in the University’s inventory database, either because it is obsolete or because it is no longer useful for the organizational unit it is assigned to.

Recipients:
This service is provided to all UMH staff.

Requirements:
Equipment must be inventoried and belong to the UMH computer fleet.

Service Request:
To request the removal of equipment inventoried by the University, it must be requested as indicated in the document Removal of Computer Assets (PDF) .

You must create a ticket in the Requests and Incidents Manager, under IT Requests, and select the Computer Equipment Disposal Request form.

Once this is done, the IT Infrastructure Service will inform the Moving Service to proceed with the removal of the equipment.
