Description:
The IT Infrastructure Service has desktop and laptop computers to lend temporarily to University users for cases such as: events, presentations, replacement equipment during repairs, etc.

Recipients:
This service is provided to all UMH Administrative and Support Staff (PAS) and Teaching and Research Staff (PDI).

Requirements:
To request this lending service, it will be necessary to provide:

• Request to the IT Infrastructure Service.
• Be a member of the PAS or PDI staff.
• Signed loan document.

Service Request:
To request the loan of a device, it must be done through the Incident and Service Request Support Center .

The request must indicate the reason why the loan is needed and its start and end dates.

Upon delivery of the equipment, the user must sign a document detailing the loan information (requesting user, description of the borrowed equipment, and loan dates).

Please note that the number of lending devices is limited, so requests will be subject to availability.

If it is necessary to extend the end date of an ongoing loan, you only need to generate a new request through the Incident and Service Request Support Center , link it to the first one, and include the following text in the description:

“An extension of the equipment loan with (inventory no.) until (date) is requested, for (reason for loan extension).”
