Software Licenses

5 March 2026

The IT Infrastructure Service manages the procurement of campus software licenses for common-use programs for all UMH administrative and service staff (PAS) and teaching and research staff (PDI), referred to as “institutional base software.”

The maintenance and incident resolution service is contracted to ensure the correct operation or resolution of issues regarding this set of common-use programs.

The following campus licenses and agreements are available:

  • Microsoft Campus Licenses, providing access to the following programs:

    • Office Professional for office automation.

    • Microsoft Outlook for email.

    • Client Operating Systems: Microsoft Windows operating system updates, provided the equipment has an underlying license.

  • Adobe Acrobat Professional Campus License.

  • Microsoft Select Academic Agreement (SELECT), which offers a simple and flexible pricing system.

  • Antivirus: A campus license for Trend Micro products is currently in effect.

  • Autodesk University Portal, through which students and professors can access Autodesk programs free of charge.

  • Turnitin Tool: Available to professors, it allows for checking the degree of similarity between documents, which is particularly useful for final degree projects, master’s theses, and doctoral dissertations.

  • Cype Agreement, which allows students of the UMH Higher Polytechnic School to download the software.

  • Office 365 for the university community.
