 The IT Infrastructure Service manages the technical aspects of the computer rooms, open-access labs, and IT laboratories available at the University. This service includes:

  • Acquisition and hardware maintenance of equipment in the computer rooms.
  • Management of campus software licenses for teaching, for common or widespread use in the rooms, budgeted by the Vice-Rectorate for Studies.
  • Installation and maintenance of the operating system and software on classroom computers.
  • Management of computer room reservations and entry of teaching schedules.

31 teaching computer rooms, 6 open-access rooms, and 14 laboratories are managed:

All classrooms have 33 computers except for the following:

 

  • Aula Informática 3 de Atzavares (Elche): 25 computers
  • Aula informática 2.1 de Altabix (Elche): 41 computers
  • Aula Informática 1 y 3 de Fº Javier Balmis (San Juan): 28 computers each.
