{"id":429,"date":"2011-09-20T13:12:49","date_gmt":"2011-09-20T11:12:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/si.zeus.umh.es\/?page_id=429"},"modified":"2026-03-09T12:42:20","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T11:42:20","slug":"solicitud-de-reparacin-de-equipo-informtico","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/sii.umh.es\/en\/servicios\/equipamiento-informatico-e-instalacion-de-software\/solicitud-de-reparacin-de-equipo-informtico\/","title":{"rendered":"Computer repair"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Description:<\/strong><br \/>\nUMH has a contract to repair University computer equipment that is broken and out of warranty.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Recipients:<\/strong><br \/>\nThis service is provided to all UMH staff.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Repair cost:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Free of charge, if the repair is carried out using parts available in the IT Infrastructure Service warehouse, mainly from decommissioned equipment.<\/li>\n<li>If parts are not available, the repair cost is \u20ac115.36 (VAT included), regardless of the broken part.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><br \/>\nThe equipment for which the repair is requested must be inventoried and belong to the UMH computer fleet.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Service Request:<\/strong><br \/>\nTo request a repair for a device, an incident must be registered through the <a href=\"http:\/\/cau.umh.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Incident and Service Request Support Center<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>After the request, a technician will evaluate the equipment to determine the origin of the breakdown. If UMH has parts for its resolution, it will be fixed; otherwise, the procedure is as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If the repair request is for equipment belonging to the Teaching and Research Staff (PDI), a document will be sent where the budget code for the internal charge must be filled in.
