Since 2009, this initiative has brought together University services and units participating in UMH&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.umhsostenible.com\/objetivos-de-desarrollo-sostenible\/\">Quality Objectives<\/a> framework.<\/p>\n<p>SII follows the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.umhsostenible.com\/el-area-ambiental-y-desarrollo-sostenible\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">UMH Environmental Policy <img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3400\" src=\"https:\/\/sii.umh.es\/files\/2024\/01\/abre-en-nueva-ventana.png\" alt=\"Opens in a new window\" width=\"15\" height=\"15\" \/><\/a>, which sets out the University&#8217;s commitments to improving environmental performance across operations, teaching, research, and knowledge transfer.<\/p>\n<p>As part of this commitment, SII applies sustainability criteria to IT services, technology purchasing and use, and the management of University IT equipment at the end of its useful life.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The IT Infrastructure Service (SII) at Universidad Miguel Hern\u00e1ndez de Elche (UMH) takes part each year in the Environmental Objectives Program .
