As managers of information and communication media for the university community, the University&#8217;s IT Infrastructure Service must guarantee reliability and security in its information systems and ensure their proper use.<\/p>\n<p>The objectives of these regulations are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Guarantee compliance with current legislation.<\/li>\n<li>Guarantee compliance with the regulations for the use of Internet access of the national R&#038;D network (RedIRIS).<\/li>\n<li>Guarantee the availability, performance, security, and privacy of internal and external information systems.<\/li>\n<li>Guarantee the security and privacy of users.<\/li>\n<li>Protect the reputation and good name of the UMH.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To this end, the following guidelines or measures are established:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The use of the University&#8217;s computer systems is not permitted for any act that violates current legislation or the usage policy of the national R&#038;D network (RedIRIS).<\/li>\n<li>The University&#8217;s computer resources are for the exclusive use of professional and academic purposes. Their use for private, commercial, or personal purposes without authorization is not permitted, and in no case may they affect professional or academic purposes.<\/li>\n<li>Access, manipulation, or use of information, services, or resources by persons who have not been expressly authorized by the University is not permitted.<\/li>\n<li>Actions that may impair the performance of computer systems or the work of other users are not permitted.<\/li>\n<li>The use of the computer resources provided by Miguel Hern\u00e1ndez University implies the acceptance of these usage criteria.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Failure to comply with these may result in the loss of the right to use the resources and, where appropriate, pertinent sanctions or legal actions.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Miguel Hern\u00e1ndez University, through its IT Infrastructure Service, provides computer resources to the university community to better develop academic and research activities.
